Instagram: Here’s How to Invite Someone Via WhatsApp

Did you know that Instagram allows you to send links to your WhatsApp contacts, encouraging them to visit your profile on the photo- and video-sharing platform? Our guide will show you how this works.
Note: These screenshots were captured in the Instagram and WhatsApp applications on iOS.
Step 1: In the Instagram app, tap your profile picture in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Tap “Settings.”
Step 4: Tap “Follow and Invite Friends.”
Step 5: Tap “Invite Friends by WhatsApp.” This will load the WhatsApp app, if it’s installed on your device. Note: You may see a permissions window, asking for your permission to switch to the WhatsApp app.
Step 6: In the WhatsApp app, tap the chat(s) you wish to send the invite within, or tap the search bar at the top of the screen to search for a conversation manually.
Step 7: When you’re done selecting one or more chats, tap “Send” in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 8: A pre-written message will be filled in for you, inviting your friend(s) to visit your profile on Instagram. You have the option to change this text, if you want. Either way, tap “Send” in the top-right corner of the screen when you want to send your message.
